Day 354: Zoo with the ol roomies

I met up with the old roommates to see the Minnesota Zoo today. We used the double stroller for Zaria and Sam, and I was pushed in a wheelchair. That means Karin, Shawna and Krista all got a good workout, pushing us and running after the toddlers when we let them loose. Below is a snuggly bunch of otters including babies. I couldn't figure out how many babies there were, but they sure are cute.

Day 286: Twins at Como

There was a big Multiple Connections picnic at Como Zoo this afternoon, and though Zaria wasn't too interested in the juggler they had, she had a great time pushing strollers and visiting with various twins. We also checked out the special butterfly exhibit, and I managed to catch a butterfly landing on my mom's head. Zaria had a great time wandering around the exhibit and flirting with little boys that were in line on the other side of the netting.

Happy birthday to Jamin, who was on the road all day today and was missed at the picnic.

Day 228: Zoo and play

We had a fun time with the girls at the Toledo Zoo today-- they lasted about 3 hours before we needed to bring them home for naps, but we managed to see lots of monkeys, swimming hippos and polar bears, and lots more. And then the girls napped in the car anyhow, so they were ready to play when we got home.

Day 32: Zoo times

The sloth in action. I didn't send out a single resume today-- instead, I went with my mom and Zaria to the Como Zoo. It was a beautiful day out to enjoy being a stay-at-home mom.
The orangutan got into the fun action and kept hiding under this kiddie pool.
