After story time today, Zaria spent some time playing with the other kids. Here she's sharing a toy with Tristin, one of the twin boys that comes. They amazingly took turns putting the lids into this jar. It's so good to see she's finally learning to share, since usually she just wants others to share with her.
Here's Maria, James and Zaria sitting on the bench that was supposed to block things off during our women's Bible study. Didn't quite work. This was our first week of meeting, and it was a little chaotic with the kids, but we managed to figure out what book we wanted to study while the kids had fun playing.
A few months ago, I had the hair-brained idea that it would be fun to make a picture story book for my last year in my 20's. My plan is to have a photo for each day of my 29th year that tells somewhat of a story of my day. Eventually there will be a total of 365 days. Correction--it's leap year, so there will be 366 days.
At the same time, I'll be creating a physical scrapbook which will have mostly the same information, but with printed out photos.
The rules I've set: 1. Each photo needs to be taken during the 24-hour period of the designated day. This means no cheating and putting in an extra photo that sort of works for a day I have no photos for. It's OK to have an extra photo, but I'll try to keep most days down to one per day. 2. No cropping. Some of these will look like they need cropping, but I won't do it. See them for all their glory.
My goals: 1. To become a better photographer. 2. To have something beautiful and interesting to remember (and process through) my 29th year.
