Day 346: Outside bubbles

Mom had forgotten how much Princess (or Boo Boo) loves bubbles until she started blowing some for Zaria on the deck. Zaria and I stayed over to take naps today since there was more pounding on our roof.

Day 303: Bubbles with Boo-Boo

After Bible study today, Zaria and I visited my mom for lunch and a little playtime with the dog. She used to be called Princess, now she's usually called Boo-Boo. Zaria thought it was hilarious how Boo-Boo chased the bubbles my mom blew for her.

Day 265: Walking Boo Boo

Zaria and I went over to let Princess, now called Boo Boo, outside and for a walk. Mom and Dave were off to see Elvis perform up north and so Boo Boo just needed a one-time relief while they were gone. Zaria loves Boo Boo, so she enjoyed the visit.

Day 255: Visiting Cassie

We went to visit Cassie at her parents' house for a while today. Zaria enjoyed chasing after the dogs, and said a few things we didn't know she knew-- Cassie's name and "tail" as she pet the dog's wagging tail. She also pointed at knees and toes and said those words, which I attribute to singing the song "Head and Shoulders Knees and Toes" a lot lately.

Day 245: Walking the dogs

This evening Zaria and I went to visit Cassie and perhaps play games-- her mom and grandma joined in a game of Dominoes, but we ended up taking the dogs and Zaria for a walk because she was getting much too crabby and tired to let us play Dominoes in peace.

Day 58: Zaria and Cosmo

Zaria loves Cassie's dog, Cosmo. And Cosmo is incredibly tolerant of her. She actually was pretty nice to him tonight while Cassie was over to play Settlers of Catan. We like to tell her, "Nice puppy. Be gentle."

Day 27: Dog sitting

Jamin needed the car to go hunting with some friends, so I didn't have a car on a Saturday, which is unusual. I still had rides available for the plans I had, but part of that was canceled because of the rain. I still had a great waffle breakfast at my parents' nearby church, Brooklyn Park E. Free, but I didn't go to the corn maze that I was hoping to get a fun photo of. Instead I was able to do a bit of dog-sitting for my friend Cassie while she went to a convention. Cosmo is a very tolerant dog, so he's great for Zaria. He fell asleep about the same time as Zaria did while we played a game of Settlers of Catan, but he looked very cozy on my throw pillow.
